Currently I am using pi and claude code for my work. I want to see these sessions through Cloudflare pages. If you look at my scripts, I use Cloudflare pages for some other stuff. I want you to create a project for these sessions. AI sessions. I know pi has export feature where it could export as HTML so we could upload directly that to the pages I think. But I don't know how cloud code will work. Maybe it has that feature too. Have a look. So ideally each and every session should be published. Add the current sessions to the pages. I don't know how this might work in real time. I don't think it is possible. So we need to figure out a way to publish session. Maybe in real time. Maybe whenever I want to publish the session. Do researches and implement this. Stage your changes too.

I'll research your existing Cloudflare Pages setup and how both tools store/export sessions.

Understood — explicit publish only, no migration. Let me examine the Claude Code transcript schema so I can render it.
claude-opus-5
Now I'll implement. First, the CSP hook in the shared Pages helper (pi's HTML export is a JS app, so that site needs inline scripts):
claude-opus-5
Now let me test it end to end, starting with discovery and rendering (without deploying).
claude-opus-5
Now let me verify the Claude renderer output before any deploy:

Authenticated. Publishing this session as a live end-to-end test:

Now the docs, then staging:

Done. Here's what I found and built. ## Research findings - **pi** has no `export` subcommand, but it does have an `export_html` RPC command (what the in-TUI `/export` uses) — reachable non-interactively via `pi --mode rpc --session <path>`. It produces a self-contained interactive viewer (sidebar, search, filters) driven by an **inline script**. - **Claude Code** has no export outside a session (`/export` is markdown-to-clipboard/file only, in-session). So its JSONL transcript at `~/.claude/projects/<project>/<uuid>.jsonl` is rendered directly. - Real-time publishing isn't practical (and you said you don't want it) — this is publish-on-demand only. ## What I added `.local/bin/publish-session.py`, following the same archive-then-deploy shape as `publish.py`/`publish-logs.py`: ```sh publish-session.py --list # recent sessions, newest first publish-session.py --list --tool pi publish-session.py 3bec3e81 # by short id, path, or full id publish-session.py --tool claude 3bec3e81 # disambiguate agent publish-session.py 3bec3e81 code-review # custom URL name publish-session.py --unpublish pi-19b3ad31 publish-session.py --redeploy ``` - pi sessions are rendered by pi's own exporter, against a **copy** of the transcript so exporting can't disturb a session you're still using. - Claude Code sessions get a renderer I wrote: prompts, replies, thinking, and each tool call beside its result in collapsible blocks; harness bookkeeping attachments (environment/model/token reminders) are dropped — that cut a sample page from 120 KB to 40 KB. - Rendered pages live in `~/.local/share/published-sessions/<name>/`; each publish deploys the whole archive as one snapshot, so nothing already published is lost. Republish the same session under the same name to refresh it. - `cloudflare_pages.write_site_files()` now takes an optional CSP; the default is unchanged for the logs and reports sites. The sessions site allows a page's own inline script, which pi's viewer needs. - `sessions = "prabhash-ai-sessions"` added to `.config/cloudflare-pages.toml`; docs in `docs/sessions.md`. ## Verified live The Pages project was created and two sessions published as an end-to-end test of both renderers — I did **not** migrate anything else: - https://prabhash-ai-sessions.pages.dev/claude-3bec3e81/ (this session) - https://prabhash-ai-sessions.pages.dev/pi-19b3ad31/ (pi's own viewer — worth eyeballing that it renders under the CSP) Remove either with `publish-session.py --unpublish <name>`. I couldn't `curl` the deployed URLs to confirm rendering — the auto-mode classifier blocked the request — so the pi page's inline script is the one thing I'd like you to confirm visually. Staged: `.local/bin/publish-session.py`, `.local/lib/python/cloudflare_pages.py`, `.config/cloudflare-pages.toml`, `docs/sessions.md`. (A pre-existing staged grafana rename was already there; I left it alone.)

I don't want the list command at all. Completely remove that. It should be always mentioned the tool. So we should always mention the tool and then the session id. I don't want to use a custom URL name.
claude-opus-5
Simplifying the CLI: `publish-session.py <pi|claude> <session>`.
claude-opus-5
Now testing the new interface:
claude-opus-5
Now updating the docs to match, and re-staging:
claude-opus-5
Done. The interface is now just the agent plus the session: ```sh publish-session.py claude 3bec3e81 publish-session.py pi 19b3ad31 publish-session.py pi ~/.pi/agent/sessions/<project>/<file>.jsonl publish-session.py --unpublish pi-19b3ad31 publish-session.py --redeploy ``` - `--list` is gone entirely, along with the `--tool` flag and the custom URL name. - The agent is a required first argument, so lookup only ever scans that agent's session directory. Naming a transcript path from the wrong agent is rejected: `... is a claude session, not pi`. - The session can be a path, a full id, or an unambiguous piece of one (matched against both ends of the id). An ambiguous piece lists the candidates instead of guessing. - The URL name is always `<agent>-<last eight characters of the id>`; republishing the same session replaces its page. Verified: republished this session through the new CLI to https://prabhash-ai-sessions.pages.dev/claude-3bec3e81/, and checked the error paths above. Staged: `.local/bin/publish-session.py`, `.local/lib/python/cloudflare_pages.py`, `.config/cloudflare-pages.toml`, `docs/sessions.md`. One thing to flag, unrelated to my changes: the Grafana rename that was staged when this conversation started (`.config/grafana/dashboards/pi-usage.json` → `.config/grafana/cloud/dashboards/pi-usage.json`, plus `docs/grafana-cloud.md` and `setup/grafana-cloud-sync.sh`) is no longer in the index — it now shows as an unstaged delete with the new files untracked. I only ever ran `git add` on my own four files, so I didn't touch it, but I left it as-is rather than re-staging work I don't know the intent of.

Why are you making this too complex? Keep this simple as possible. If we mention tool, it should only search that tool's sessions. And the only thing it should have is the full ID. Don't make it too complex by providing that it can be provided by path unambigable or unambiguous piece of one. Don't do that. Remove all those. Keep this simple as possible. Since I am the one this is running. Don't consider error handling too much because I'll see when an error comes. Right? Handle errors if it is necessary but the thing is keep it simple as possible.
claude-opus-5
You're right — the id lookup was doing a full scan and parse of every session. Rewriting it simply:
claude-opus-5
Now the docs, and re-stage:
claude-opus-5
Simplified. The whole interface is now: ```sh publish-session.py claude 253bf310-2433-4c61-a74e-24563bec3e81 publish-session.py pi 01a070fb-d31a-7970-8968-093519b3ad31 publish-session.py --unpublish claude-253bf310-2433-4c61-a74e-24563bec3e81 ``` What I removed: - `--list`, `--tool`, `--redeploy`, custom URL names, path arguments, prefix/suffix matching, ambiguity reporting. - The whole discovery layer. It used to glob and parse *every* transcript from both agents to resolve an id; now the id goes straight into one glob against that agent's directory only (`*/*_<id>.jsonl` for pi, `*/<id>.jsonl` for Claude Code). One file gets read. - The atomic-rename dance with rollback, the symlink checks in the archive, the `Session.short`/`slug_for` helpers, and the "already up to date" reporting. Errors that only you would see now just fail with a line. I kept `--unpublish` since it's the only way to take a page down, and it's about ten lines. The page name is `<agent>-<full id>`, so republishing the same session overwrites its page. The file went from 736 to 534 lines; most of what's left is the Claude Code transcript renderer. Verified live — both agents, and cleanup of the two pages that used the old short-id naming: - https://prabhash-ai-sessions.pages.dev/claude-253bf310-2433-4c61-a74e-24563bec3e81/ - https://prabhash-ai-sessions.pages.dev/pi-01a070fb-d31a-7970-8968-093519b3ad31/ A short id is rejected with `error: a session id looks like 253bf310-...`, and the wrong agent with `error: no pi session <id>`. Staged: `.local/bin/publish-session.py`, `.local/lib/python/cloudflare_pages.py` (optional per-site CSP; default unchanged for logs and reports), `.config/cloudflare-pages.toml`, `docs/sessions.md`.
